It has been a month since my first blog, the reason being is that I have suddenly been rushed off my feet.  With setting up my new Juice Plus+ business and winding down my other activities, my feet have not touched the ground.  Never mind, busy is good I always think but now I want to get into a regular routine and write about my Juice Plus+ journey and life!

So today's news is that I have upgraded to the premium product with Juice Plus+.  The longer I am on the capsules the better I feel both physically but more surprisingly to me was the change in my mental attitude.  Bearing my soul here for a moment, I split up with my husband in 2013 and although this was ultimately a good thing, it was still fairly traumatic.  I also moved homes as well as countries and what with settling in, the kids going to new schools well that didn't leave much time left for me.

But here I am not even a year after, losing weight, feeling better about myself but more than that feeling able to face whatever life plans to throw at me.  For the past two weeks in particular I have been waking up with a spring in my step and without that bleary headed feeling I have done so for many years! I put it down to being a busy working mum but maybe there was more to it than that. 

I eat a pretty balanced diet and always have loved fruit and vegetables, whole grained breads and seeds with no particular interest in chocolate and unhealthy snacks (although I do like a bit of cheese!) but I feel like Juice Plus+ is plugging even my healthy diet full of the nutrients that my body is not getting. 

On Facebook there is a special support group just for Juice Plus+ customers and I am amazed at some of the truly inspiring results, not just for weight loss but also other health benefits, so below I have shared just a few for you.

So this is my first proper blog on the new site and I thought I would start it off with a bit about my health journey. 

I have been overweight probably for the past 20 years but it was only after the birth of my third child in the space of five years that I realised my weight had really become a significant problem.  I never weighed myself and even now I have to force myself onto the scales even though in the past 6 months I have lost nearly 4 stone. 

I am still classed as overweight but am no longer pushed into the obese category by the 'health standards' that are banded about but still feel like the 'big girl' in the room.

I didn't lose all of the four stone on Juice Plus+, not at all, I could claim that I did but no, most of it was a hard slog of eating very little and a bit of help from Jillian Michaels screaming at me from my laptop.  For those of you who don't know who Jillian Michaels is, google her! She is a tyrant. 

So anyway, I moved to the UK after living for 8 years in France, a few pounds started to creep back on, panic set in, there was no way I wanted to undo all the hard work.  Quite by chance I was introduced to Juice Plus+ complete shakes by a friend.  I was a bit dubious to be honest, I like countless others had tried slimfast but for me I found it synthetic and over sweet (maybe it's moved on since I tried it) but you only have to look at what is in it to realise it is maybe not the best way to lose weight. 

I wanted something that was natural, that was healthy (even good for me!) that didn't break the bank and ideally it would taste nice.  The cost per shake was a good price and since my friend was recommending it, I thought I have little to lose (apart from weight) and everything to gain. 

And so my love affair with Juice Plus+ began.  I opted to go for the shakes and the capsules because I really wanted to get healthy not just lose weight.  With three kids, two dogs, a house and a home business to run, I needed something that would not leave me short on energy and wow did Juice Plus+ deliver.  I can honestly say I have not looked back and after just 6 weeks using Juice Plus+ products I made the decision to distribute for them in my area and online.  Working online has been my job for sometime so it made sense to set up this website and share my story and Juice Plus+ with whoever wants to listen. 

So to you my lovely readers, this is where my Juice Plus+ story starts, I still have three stone to lose to get to my ideal weight and I am going to blog my weight loss each week on here, so if you want to follow my progress, see you next week!
